TALMUDIC STUDIES

In 2015, Yeshiva Gedola Amidei Dgirsa offered its first yeshiva classes as part of a full undergraduate program. The first class attracted 27 young men, and the school has grown at a modest rate every year. Today, over 60 Torah scholars who flourish in the school’s warm, student-focused atmosphere.

The Yeshiva has developed a reputation where students of varied Chassidic styles and backgrounds come together from Monsey, Boro Park, Williamsburg and Kiryas Yoel to pursue undergraduate studies. The school offers a 60-credit degree in Classical Talmudic Studies, or a more advanced First Talmudic Degree with 150 credits.

The students are bound together not by a unified, single chassidus, but by the pursuit of higher learning in a supportive, collegiate environment where every effort is made to help them succeed and progress in their studies. The Yeshiva encourages excellence while clearly communicating to its talmidim that all learning is a joint project where both the individual student and the faculty-at-large work together to achieve their educational goal.

The Congregation of Our Layeshorim is currently in the midst of securing the accreditation for an undergraduate degree in Classical Talmudic Studies Degree (60 credits) or First Talmudic Degree (150 credits).
